Parents
Our parents are an important part of the MVLA community. This page provides information about registration, financial aid, refunds and volunteering. If you have specific questions, please reach out to your team manager or a board member for help.
Each player is required to register with MVLA before the first game of the season. You will receive an email specific to your player to register for the new season. If you have not received an email with registration instructions, please contact admin@mvlasc.org.
In our efforts to enhance the experience for all members of the MVLA SC community (coaches, players and parents), we believe it is important to have a clear set of expectations and a shared understanding for each of these key members of our community.
To view details of codes of conduct for coaches, players and parents go to our Code of Conduct page.
Communication is pinnacle for a team to run smoothly. Learn about MVLA’s Communication Guide and Policies, what is expected from coaches, parents and players in each age group with regards to communications and about our Escalation Process and Kudos Korner by visiting our Communication Protocol page.
Immediately after registering a player an email will be sent with a link to information sheets about concussions and cardiac arrest. Parents will be required to read the sheets and check a box that they’ve read them.

Volunteer
There are many ways to get involved including managing teams, joining the board and completing volunteer hours. Volunteering opportunities of all kinds and at different times of the year are available.
Fall 2022 Volunteer Hours Reimbursement Request Deadline is December 1, 2022
-
Once you have fulfilled 6 hours per player per season of volunteer hours, please complete the Volunteer Reimbursement Form to request a credit, donation or reimbursement of the $125 Fall portion of the volunteer fee. You may also use this form to confirm volunteer hours if you have received financial aid.
Please note that if your player is returning for the Spring 2022 season, a credit will be applied to your invoice if you are on an installment plan for the Fall 22/Spring 23 annual registration. If you paid in full a credit will be applied to your Fall 2023 invoice. If your player is not returning for the Spring 22 season, you will be issued a refund. If you have any questions about completing the form, please contact admin@mvlasc.org.
Note to families that received financial aid: The aid you received was grossed up to cover the volunteer fee, therefore you are not eligible to receive the volunteer fee back. You are still required to meet the 6 hours per player per season to receive ongoing aid for future seasons.
Forms cannot be edited once submitted. Forms that are incomplete or do not contain approved volunteer roles will not be processed. Approved volunteer roles are those for which sign-up opportunities are available through ivolunteer, approved team manager roles or other designated club-wide roles.
Report Field/Equipment Issues
Use the Field and Equipment Submission form for reporting field, game equipment and practice equipment issues at MVLA permitted fields.
