Girls Teams
The MVLA girls program is focused on the proven player development approach that has earned MVLA and its players a strong reputation for their skill, teamwork and overall character.
Our Girls program includes competitive teams that play Elite Clubs National Teams (ECNL), NorCal‘s National Premier League (NPL), NorCal Premier League, and Cal North Soccer Leagues.
The Girls ECNL is based on the values of grass-roots collaboration and innovation, and supports the independence and freedom of coaches and clubs to fully manage the development path for their players, including the system and style of play, the competitive calendar, and all aspects of the development path. The Boys ECNL will raise standards in training, competition, club organization, and coaching in a holistic development program.
The primary focus of a successful soccer program will be the individual player and their families. With a primary focus of soccer coaches, teams and clubs will be the development of children as people first and players second. Individual player development will be a clubs primary focus and team success a secondary but important goal. NPL believe the NorCal Premier Soccer League offers a league supporting the players, parents, coaches and clubs in this endeavor.
The mission of the Cal North is to serve all children and our communities by providing opportunities that allow each child to grow, learn, mature and succeed by becoming productive adult members of society through the development, promotion, and offering, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin and/or ability, comprehensive community based leagues that offer a complete range of youth soccer opportunities for all children of all ages and abilities.

⚽ A huge congratulations to our boys for winning the finals at the inaugural San Jose Earthquakes Tournament! ⚽
First Place in Quakes Summer Cup - MVLA 15B Liverpool Blue secured another championship title in 2014 silver division, showcasing their skill and teamwork.
This victory is extra special because the team was competing in the 2014s division against older players, yet they rose to the challenge with incredible teamwork, skill, and determination.
Over the course of the tournament, the boys dominated with a 20 goals for and 1 against in 4 games, showing both strong attacking play and rock-solid defending.
We are so proud of the way they represented MVLA—playing with heart, resilience, and a true love of the game. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what this group achieves next.

• To fake and shift them off balance before accelerating

2011B ECNL team achieved remarkable success at the Mustang Stampede Soccer tournament in the premier bracket this past weekend.
🏆 The boys won three group games and the final beating Bay Area Surf MLS Next 2 in the final 1-0 having previously won their three group games versus ECNL and MLS Next opposition. 🏆

They went undefeated in pool play and faced a familiar opponent in the final—one they tied 0-0 earlier in the tournament. After another scoreless battle through regulation and overtime, the boys held strong and clinched the title in PKs, 4-3. A gritty, well-earned victory—congrats, champions!
