Oige Kennedy

Oige grew up in Dublin, Ireland. His club team was Bray Wanderers, and he played in youth professional academies in Europe.

Oige played for the Irish youth national teams, and says his favorite soccer memory is getting the opportunity to represent his country on several occasions in soccer. Oige played professionally in Europe for the league of Ireland.

Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Oige coached at Fort Lewis College in Colorado. In addition to coaching for MVLA, Oige is the Stanford University men’s soccer Associate Head Coach. Oige has the following coaching licenses: US Senior A and License UEFA B. 

Oige enjoys working with players who are passionate about their sport, saying that it’s a fun journey to be on with a group of people who have similar goals and ambitions in life. His favorite team is Arsenal, and Dennis Bergkamp is his favorite player.
